On October 12, the international exhibition of equipment, machines and ingredients for the food and processing industry AGROPRODMASH 2018 was finished.
For the whole week forums, consultations, master classes and presentations were held on the territory of JSC “Expocentre”. Thousands of visitors, hundreds of innovative solutions, dozens of business meetings — all concentrated in one venue with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
The stand of AMATA SCALE was located in the salon “Packaging equipment and materials. Dosage, packaging, labeling. Weighing equipment.” Our visitors could not only get acquainted with the novelties in the field of dosing, but also see time-tested solutions in the field of packaging and quality control.
Among the presented new products of AMATA, the multihead weigher for packing Korean salads, sea kale and sauerkraut KATE-214-KR stood out in particular. The original design features of this model allow you to achieve a minimum sticking of the product to the elements of the grocery tract, so that very sticky products can now also be packaged on weight combinational dispensers.

Expanding the range of products that can be packaged using multihead weighers is a very important stage in the field of packaging and packaging. Weight combination dosing is high speed while maintaining high accuracy. Previously, such weighers could work only with bulk products – pasta, cereals, chips, nuts, candy and so on. Today, due to the innovative development of our team, we can quickly and accurately dispense crumbly curd, meat and fish, animal feed, Korean salads, sea kale and other “complex” products.
Also on the AMATA stand, a standard KATE-210-R combination weigher was presented. It was designed to work with most bulk products. Updated software, a special weight stabilization system, a large set of additional options, a convenient control panel are only part of the advantages of this model.
This year, the greatest interest was focused on quality control equipment – AMATA-MD-CW checkweigher with metal detector. In the modern world, the issue of product quality control is becoming increasingly relevant, as consumers place ever-increasing demands on ready-made packages.
